Making A Purchase
To make a purchase, simply add the items you wish to buy to your shopping cart and select the checkout when ready.

You will be asked for some personal details (name, address, etc.) in order to complete your order.

Card payments are accepted - If shopping from abroad, your card company will automatically convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept most major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

If you make a make an incorrect order or need to adjust your order, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us - no contract will exist until we accept your order and take payment, at which time a contract will exist. We will send you an invoice to confirm the contract. In the event that an item has been mispriced or is currently / no longer available, we will contact you first to agree any necessary amendments to your order.

If you have a coupon code you will need to enter it on the final page of checkout, before selecting "Confirm Order".Check the discount has been deducted.
Shipping And Handling
Asquiths Jewellers uses Royal Mail as our Courier. Please note that the cut off point for all orders is 2pm - any order placed after 2pm are not be guaranteed to dispatched same-day. Also note that any orders which cannot be completed due to out of stock items will note be covered under the following outlines:

We can provide proof of postage on all 1st class mail.

SPECIAL DELIVERY
After Dispatch, Royal Mail guarantee next working day delivery by 1:00 pm. We can provide proof of postage and delivery. You will be sent a tracking code when Special Delivery items are dispatched. Compensation can be claimed for items lost in post when using this method. Special delivery cannot be used on any orders being delivered outside mainland UK.

INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR
Available to every destination world-wide. All items are tracked until they leave the UK - and in some cases on arrival in the destination country. Please check www.royalmail.com for more information. Items are only handed over once a signature is received.
Compensation is paid for lost or damaged items up to £500
For items over £500 we advise you take out your own additional insurance.
Delivery times: If you use International Signed For™ with Airmail delivery, Royal Mail's target time is three working days to Western Europe, four working days to Eastern Europe and five working days for the rest of the world. May take up to 20 days to European countries; up to 25 days for the rest of the world. Items lost in the mail can only be claimed for AFTER the maximum delivery times have expired.
Delivery Schedule
Wherever possible orders are processed the first working day after the order is placed and dispatched that same-day. We promise to inform you if dispatch will not be within 7 working days. Delivery typically takes up to 3 working days.
Occasionally there may be a problem which delays the dispatch of your goods. Problems may include, but are not limited to:
  • Payment Issues;
  • Out-of-stock or otherwise unavailable items
  • Unusually large numbers of orders - we process orders on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritising Special Delivery and International Signed For before Recorded Delivery and First Class Post
You will be notified by telephone or email if a problem arises.
Goods lost in the mail will not be refunded except in the case of items sent using Special Delivery, International Signed for, or at our option.
You agree that proof of delivery by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders
If an item is not in stock, we will back order for you where possible. You will always be emailed with the option to amend or cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or EU, 20.0% VAT is included in the price of the items purchased. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security
We use an acredited safe payment provider. When orders are placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are decrypted only after reaching our payment provider. They are not displayed in plain text on any of our computers or any website.

Returns Policy
Should you wish to return any of your goods for any reason please return them to the following address, together with a covering letter.

If you are dissatisfied with any goods purchased from Asquiths Jewellers, you have 7 days from the date of shipment to return said goods for exchange or an appropriate refund. On receipt of the goods, Asquiths Jewellers will provide an exchange or a refund. Refunds will be equal to the value of the goods being returned, including the original cost of delivery if returning all items from your order. We will not reimburse any additional costs incurred while sending items back for refund.
Exchanges will be for one or more items totaling an equivalent value of the item(s) being returned. Should the value of the replacement item(s) be different to the value of the item(s) being returned, an appropriate refund or change for the difference will be made as well.
You are responsible for any loss or damage to goods during transit - you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value and ensure that the goods are returned in adequate packaging. You are also responsible for any postage costs when returning items (except in the case of faulty goods). This policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, sending faulty or incorrect goods.
All Items should be returned in "as new" condition. Items for refund must include their original packaging.
These terms apply at the time of order placement. These terms are subject to change without notice. Always check the most recent terms when placing an order.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable stature or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
